Morrison, Elva; at the Newmarket Health Centre on Saturday April 27, 2013. Elva Irene (McKenzie) Morrison of Alliston, formerly of Mount Forest in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Morrison. Loved mother of Larry Morrison & wife Joanne of Beeton. Loving grandmother of Andy and Emma. Dear sister of John G. McKenzie & wife Mary of Bracebridge, Lorne McKenzie & wife Flo of Dresden and H. Grant McKenzie & wife Joan of Cornwall. Dear sister-in-law of Phyllis McKenzie of Guelph and Mona Kramp of Stratford. Also survived by her many nieces and their families. Predeceased by brother Harold McKenzie, sister-in-law Kathleen Ferguson & husband Louis and brother-in-law Russell Kramp. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. Funeral service will be held at the England Funeral Home on Wednesday May 1st at 1:00p.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. I am sorry to learn there was a death in your family. The loss of a loved one is extremely painful. I'd like to share scripture that may bring comfort and hope to your family. Mark 5:35-43 reads in part...While Jesus was speaking, he overheard men telling an officer of the synagogue that his daughter had died. Upon hearing this, Jesus, Peter, James and John, the brother of James, went alone to the officer's home. When they arrived, Jesus went to the deceased child and told her to get up. Immediately, she got up. You see, Jehovah promises a resurrection of our loved ones. (Acts 24:15) We must have faith in this promise. To strengthen our faith, please also read Isaiah 55:11 and Isaiah 25:8.
