Nelson, Irene; at Louise Marshall Hosptial, Mount Forest on Tuesday March 3, 2009. Irene (Shaw) Nelson of Mount Forest in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Earl Nelson. Predeceased by husbands Harry Hammell, Bill Hammell and Charles Woods. Irene will be fondly remembered by the families of Earl, Harry, Bill and Charles and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Edith Shaw, sisters Elva Sayres & husband Thorton, Vera Smith & husband Elliot, Inez Morwood & husband Ira and brothers Roy Shaw & wife Hazel, Bertel Shaw & wife Alice, Earl Shaw & wife Mabel and Ira Shaw & wife Lola. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mount Forest United Church on Friday March 6th at 2:00p.m. Spring interment at Woodland Cemetery, Southgate Township. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Woodland United Church, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 134, Mount Forest or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated by the family.
