Condolences
Just found this obit for Art! I tried calling a year or so ago and the phone was disconnected. Art was a cousin of my husband on the Phelan lineage. We visited with him and Kay several years ago and he also spent a few days with us here in IL. He was a great cousin, we so enjoyed him! So sorry to find this so late, should have kept in touch. I am sure he is in a good place in heaven, no one deserves it more! Will miss is sense of humor and his knowledge of the Phelan family history!
— Mary Ann Kaylor, December 20, 2014Eva and Maurice, Sorry to hear about Art. I was away for a couple of days so just found out now. I will always remember him as such a gentleman. He was our Proton historian.
— Joan Arthur, August 15, 2013Eva & Maurice - Mom and Dad and Art and Kay were great friends and neighbours. Unfortunately we just learned of his death of Wednesday, too late to share our sympathy with you in person. Another piece of Proton history is silenced. Our deepest condolences. Sincerely, Mary Jane Cantlon, Dianne & Colin Reesor and Linda & Rick Ruff
— Mary Jane Cantlon, August 14, 2013Dear Eva and Family: So sorry to hear of Art's passing. He always had that little grim when he spoke of Grandpa Benson. I would joke with him and ask him " Who's my Grandpa?" He would always say with a smile " Jimmy". Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. Christy
