Condolences
Dear Mrs Pickett, My prayers and thoughts go out to you. Just reading about the news of the passing of your husband. I was your son Robin's Grade 8 graduating peer, and I seem to remember that you also taught me in either grade 5 or 6. I'm currently living in Winnipeg and thought I'd send you a quick e-mail to tell you how fondly I remember you as well as Robin and I hope that you keep well. If you or Robin would like to e-mail me back to catch up, I'm always looking for more e-mail friends. Warmest regards, Theresa Sharma (nee Polasz)
— Theresa (nee POLASZ) Sharma, January 10, 2010My condolences to Lorraine, Robin, Jacqueline and Brian. It has been many years since I have seen you all, but the Proton connections run deep. Sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
— Margaret Rice, January 1, 2010Dear Jacqui, Mrs. Pickett and Family, Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the fact that John is no longer suffering and in the wonderful memories that you have had as a family. Jacqui has shared wonderful stories of your family and I feel that I have come to know you all over time. I have heard and seen through Jacqui's eyes a warm and wonderful family, devoted to each other with deep love, admiration and respect for one another. What a wonderful life John had and will remember as he begins the next phase of his life, his spiritual journey. Shelley Madden
— Shelley Madden, January 1, 2010Dear Mrs. Pickett and Family: Please accept my condolences for your loss. Although I never had the opportunity or pleasure of meeting John, I felt I knew him well through all the stories Jacqui has shared with me during the 11 years we have worked together at Ideal Personnel. Through those stories I developed an impression of a man who was a man of honour, with a great sense of humour, sharp wit, sensitive but hid it well, devoted to his family and deeply loved by his daughter Jacqui. It is through Jacqui that his legacy lives on and will always be remembered. With deepest sympathy, Kristine Kane, Partner, Ideal Personnel.
