Condolences

We would like to express our condolences to the family at this difficult time. Frank had a long and active life. He was a good neighbor and would often stop on road for a chat when going to the other farm. The conversation would usually cover hockey and cattle. Our thoughts are with you. Harold & Diane Ammerman and family.

So sorry to hear today of your Father's passing when we returned home.Frank will always be remembered by us for his quick smile, story telling and the way he could move in that"chair". He will be missed by all from the "old neighborhood" Sincerely. Larry and Wilda Leibold

Very sorry and sad to hear of Frank's passing. I have many fond memories,as a kid, of haying and time spent checking on cattle at the different pasture farms. I still laugh thinking of how he told me to count the ears and divide by two when counting how many head of cattle there were. He was a great man. I will always hold him in high regard. I pray you will be comforted as you mourn his passing.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was my hockey coach and I got to know him as I was growing up in Mount Forest. Still remember running into Frank in Whitehorse Yukon in 1991 when I was there for work. He was on a tour and we had a good chat. My best to Brad, Rick, Pearl and all the family.

I had the privilege to visit with Frank at Saugeen Valley when I was assisting the chaplain there last March. I was raised near Guelph and had an uncle who lived next door to the farm at which Frank worked in 1939 - the Blythe farm. Once we realized that we had that territory in common, the conversation took off. Frank said that he remembered when my uncle got the first rubber tired tractor in the neighbourhood and the excitement of that. As well, he mentioned going to the local dances and perhaps even dancing with one of my aunts! What a small world! It was a delight to chat with Frank and hear about my family's history and to hear about his life too. My sympathy goes out to all his family. I feel blessed to have known Frank.

I'm so sorry to hear of Frank's passing and want to express my deepest condolences. It was such an honour that he wanted to share his war-time stories about his service with 86 Bridge Coy RCASC with me... R.I.P. Frank.

We are saddened by Frank's passing and send our deepest sympathies to all the family. Frank was my hockey coach and also a good father figure always ready to help out. I have lots of great memories riding to hockey games or playing tag on the rafters in the barn. Sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
