Condolences

Ellie - so sorry to hear that Murray passed away. I will always remember the good times at the poker club and still recall the evening of Grant's funeral when you "quit smoking". Unfortunately I was on a trip out west from July 2nd to 23rd. and regret that I was not available when you needed me for the service. It's a difficult time, but I hope that you are coping well.

Mrs. Ray, I just found out about Murray and I am sorry to hear of his passing. I guess your Bridge Club is ALMOST all Widows now... Peter, Jane and Paul, again I am sorry to hear about your dad. I will always remember him and all of you from my days cleaning the chicken barns. Oh...and from school of course!

When my father died, I was barely 17 and my mother decided that we would work together with the insurance business. Murray would take the time periodically to have a short chat, and in those early days sometimes he would say "If you ever need somebody to talk to, call me." I always felt that his interest was genuine, and for me, he was a role model of a sincere, hard-working gentleman.
