Shepherd, Michael; at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto on Wednesday October 28th, 2015 after a valiant battle with Leukemia. Michael Henry Shepherd of Mount Forest in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Deborah-Lee (Rastin) Shepherd. Loved father of Ryan Shepherd & wife Callie of Halton Hills, James Shepherd & wife Heather of Norval, Jennifer MacCallum & husband Jeremy of Milton, Shannon Champagne & husband Justin of Kitchener, Michelle Shepherd of Milton, Meagan Rastin of London, Melinda Boomer of Mount Forest, Melissa Boomer of Toronto, Brooke Boomer of Mount Forest, Lauren Rastin-Erb of Cambridge and Erica Rastin-Erb of Cambridge. Michael will be dearly missed by his loving grandchildren. Dear brother of Anthony Shepherd & wife Sylvia of Newmarket, David Shepherd & Susan Smith of Mount Forest and Yvette Stroud & husband Kenneth of Bracebridge. Loved son-in-law of Deborah Rastin of London and brother-in-law Richard Rastin of London. Survived also by his nieces, nephews. Predeceased by parents Hal & Joyce Shepherd, sister Colleen Day, father-in-law Allen Rastin and brother-in-law Thomas Rastin. Michael was a school bus driver in the Mount Forest area for many years and the students of the community are welcome to attend the celebration. Michael drove for Cook Bus Lines along with Brenmar Bus Lines. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on November 20th, 2015 from 9:00a.m. until time of the Celebration of Michael 's Life at 10:00a.m. Memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
