Condolences
Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Matt. 5:4 May it be a source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you and that, throughout this time of need He'll stay close by your side. We send our heartfelt sympathy to all of you at this time. As I thought of Shirley, I remember a time when I took Aunt Annie & Uncle Ross to see you all back in 1962. She was in the process of baking an apple pie and said she couldn't guarantee how it would turn out as all of us were watching her roll out the pastry. When Alex's Mom and I picked them up the next day, they said it was a great pie. We had stayed in London overnight and they visited with all of you. We are sorry we could not be with you to mourn and remember with you. Although your loss is great, we trust you know we care. Love Alex & Betty
— Alex and Betty McRae, January 1, 2010Janis- My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I know it has been a tough few years for you. I don't know if we are ever truly prepared to lose a parent and I pray that it won't happen to me soon!. I was thinking of you last night-Bruce, Paul, myself and my mother were sitting around a huge bonfire at her farm with all of our kids (small grown-ups, really!) and I thought about Algonquin Park and hoped you were enjoying your 'brood' as much as we are all enjoying ours! Reading of your mother's passing today just made me realize how precious those times are. Please email if you are coming to London this summer, and you can meet the horses, dogs, usual Lamb zoo! Thinking of you, and remembering Shirley fondly. Donna Lamb
