My dearest Grandma, Though life could be (very) difficult at times, a smile was a permanent fixture upon your face. Beautiful twinkling eyes combined with a dazzling smile and your brilliant laughter is a prominent memory we all share of you! It wasn't an unusual thing to see you watching 'just for laugh gags' or 'funny animal tales' because you loved laughter as much you loved your cats, and we all know just how much you loved your cats! :) As a little girl, I loved to come visit and play with Smokey, my favourite kitten! He was gray and a just an absolute darling. I remember you teasing me about how much I loved and was obsessed with little Smokey, even offering to give him to me. You had such a heart for stray cats, and animals in need of help. I remember you nursed a little squirrel back to life, after an injury made him weak and unable to fend for himself. Your kindness and love towards living things, speaks of God's love. You will be missed greatly my dear Grandma, and it seems even yet unbelievable that when I come to Mount Forest again, I won't be arriving at your house to see you in your rocking chair. I love you dearly my precious Grandma and cling to the hope and promise that I will see you again, sometime very soon. xoxo Behold, I tell you a mystery We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality when this corruptible has put on incorruption and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in Victory. O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ. - I Corinthians 15:51-57 (Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved! -John 3:16)

So sorry about your Mom. She has suffered for many years but she never complained. She was a very strong lady. I have lots of fond memories of visiting your family in Holstein with Mom and Dad when we were all little. Every time I took Mom for a visit she always spoke with great pride about her children and grandchildren. I liked looking at all her pictures of her ever expanding family. I just talked to Mom and of course she is very sad but she knows that Aunt Virginias' suffering is over. She told me about the funeral plans and I will be there to celebrate your Moms life with you. I know your Mom is with my Dad now and I'm sure they're laughing together as they always did. Take care of yourselves. Love Rose Marie.
