I was greatly saddened upon hearing of Kay's passing just now. I first met Kay 4 summers ago, at the general store. I was passing through and was considering moving to Holstein, and she talked me into it. I also had the pleasure of introducing my dog Willow, to her lil' Henry & they became fast friends. Upon moving to Holstein in 2014, Kay was the first person I met in the park. Up until early Fall, when the weather became too cold for Kay to bring Henry out, we would meet daily. Willow would run straight to Kay, since she always had a liver treat for her. When walking past her home, Henry would signal Kay to come out & bring treats! The past two Summers, seeing Kay out trotting down the trails with Precious, always brought a smile. She will be missed tremendously by Willow, myself & the community. To all of Kay's family, may you find an inner peace knowing that she enjoyed her life in Holstein. The park just won't be the same without the two of them. You are all in my thoughts, as we say goodbye to a magnificent woman. Please accept my sincere condolences. Jane Stevens

I am saddened to hear of the passing of dear Kay. She had a ready smile, and kind heart and was a gentle soul. Walks with Henry, tea and toast and good conversation. She has been a bright light in this world. She will remain in my heart. Diana
