Condolences
My condolences to Uncle John, Aunt Kathy, Aaron and the Bauers during this challenging time. While I never had the opportunity to meet Nick Bauer, I look forward to attending the celebration of this life in the New Year. All the best from Peter and Elaine.
— Peter Davey, December 31, 2016My deepest sympathies to everyone for the loss of Nick Bauer. It seemed from the updates from his son John- a dear friend of mine- that Mr. Bauer dealt with his illness and decline over the past few years as he lived his whole live. With incredible strength, honour, lack of self pity and greater concern for his family than himself. To his wife Ruth, who I know provided 24/7 care, I think you are a saint and a symbol to us all of total love for one's spouse. I hope you can take comfort that Mr Bauer is now pain free and at rest. Also that you have the love and support of your family during this difficult time and in the future to come. To my dear friend John who was there for me when my father passed away in 2014, I am here for you now. Love to all.. Steve Davey
— Steve Davey, December 28, 2016Ruth, John and Kathy, Carol and Manuel and families, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I loved the laughter and times we had together on the farm even if it was at a time of getting another hair cut. I know you all will miss him . Sorry I won't be able to attend The Celebration of Life on the 7th of Jan. as I will be out west in Alberta. Isabel (Black) Primmer
