— G and B Holliday, May 4, 2021Jeannette & family, So sad to read the sudden passing of Ed. We got to know you as across the road neighbours of mom & dad. They enjoyed your friendship, and mom was sad when you sold the farm & moved to Mt Forest. Ed & dad enjoyed helping each other out on the farms. We recently found a VHS tape circa 1997 & watched it with Chandler. You recorded the haying process & the Silent Valley Park Christmas in July parade and a Ayton parade, plus all the commentary you provided, It was so nostalgic. That VHS now has more meaning to us. Cherish the memories .

It was always a treat to talk with Ed about anything, His stories of his working life and experiences were always interesting and often humorous. His recounting of the sailing adventures he and Jeanette shared were priceless. We miss you Ed and we will cherish your memory forever. Rest in peace, my friend. Jim and Jane
