Sarah Marie Eurig (nee Reeves), of Mount Forest, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Pat Flaherty and the late Donald Eurig and loving mother of the late Patti Vanderaa. Loving mother of Randy Eurig and his wife Heather of Mount Forest. Cherished grandmother of Jason Vanderaa and his wife Paula, Shawn Van Der Aa and his wife Charlene, Alyssa and her husband Scott Checkley, and Kelsey Eurig. Great-grandmother of Patricia, Johnathan, Johannah, Ann, Tara, Abby and Claire. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Reeves, John Koehler, Verne and Sharon Eurig, Dianne Eurig and Linda and Larry Litt. Marie will be fondly remembered by Pat’s daughters; Patricia Lyons, Bernadette Flaherty, Theresa Brennan and Corinne Borlase; and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Mervyne Reeves and Gordon Reeves and his late wife Vi, her brother-in-law John Eurig and his late wife Ida and her sister-in-law Audrey Koehler. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Friday, December 22nd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A celebration of Marie’s life will be held at the Mount Forest United Church on Saturday at 11 a.m., with visitation at the church prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated by the family.
