Nancy Queen

Nancy Roberta Queen, of Mount Forest, passed away at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, January 19th, 2018 in her 73rd year. Dear sister of Gordon Queen of Toronto and Stephen Queen of Bancroft. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Roberta Queen. Nancy was a longtime and devoted member of First Baptist Church in Mount Forest. She loved all of the pet cats that she nurtured throughout her life. Friends may call at First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North, Mount Forest on Wednesday, January 24th from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

Dear Gordon and Stephen I have so many great memories of times spent with your family, especially when your parents and Mom and Dad were alive, so many family dinners and times together in Caintown and at Charleston Lake. I was able to vist Nancy quite a few times in Mount Forest when I was travelling and speaking for a ladies ministry. It gave us time for wonderful visits, lunches and sharing of fond memories from childhood and our faith. That has not been able to happen in the last years as I\\'ve struggled with the restrictions of arthritic pain and greatly decreased mobility. I was thankful I found the number and was able to call last night and get the news of Nancy from you, doubt I\\'d have gotten it any other way, so thank you for identifying yourself so I could do the same and have a brief chat with you.
