Condolences
I want to wish the entire family my deepest condolences. I have many memories of him as a child and though I didn't get to see him very often, I remember him as a warm and sweet man. I only hope to live as long as him and to leave behind memories like his behind for future generations. Again my deepest condolences.
— christine Tedesco (Moore), March 25, 2018We wanted to offer our deepest sympathy and will always remember all the many laughs and good times we had with Elmer at the garage. Ken, Margy & Helen Smart
— Ken Smart, March 25, 2018I was sorry to read about your Dad's passing. He was such a gentle man, quiet man. I have good memories of him. Paula
— Paula Solway, March 23, 2018So sorry to read of your father's passing. I remember such good times at the McDougall's on the farm with my parents, Mel & Janet Smyth. We even had a pair of kittens from the farm which we named Elmer and Duncan. Elmer produced many kittens. Always a joke when we got together with the Moore's and McDougall's. Remember the good times with this wonderful man. Inez Smyth Fenton
— Inez Fenton, March 22, 2018Ruth-Anne, Marlene, Bernie, Lynn, Paul and family, We were sorry to read about your Dad's passing. Your Dad and Mom were good neighbours when we lived on Silverbirch Street. I always was amazed at your Mom she would be up at dawn and have the driveway clean in the winter and a load of wash on the line before I even had my morning coffee. We moved to Belleville two years ago today to be closer to our son and wife and on trips home to Mount Forest we always drive into Silverbirch as our 20 years there it holds alot of memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Paula, Bruce & Justin.

— Diana Koehler, March 22, 2018Dear Paul. Your Dad was an awesome man. Whether it was helping coach hockey or watching one of our ball games, he always was smiling! I know he was proud of you and your sisters. Take comfort in knowing I’ll be thinking of you and yours in the coming days. I love you Dougie. Hang in there-Jack(the wide mouth Frog).
