Shirley Kennedy

Shirley Bernice Kennedy (nee Buckwald), of Mount Forest, passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Monday, April 16^th, 2018 in her 81^st year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Kennedy.  Loving mother of Kathy and her husband Chris Battams, and Cindy and her husband Allen Gray all of Listowel.  Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Darren), Lee (Sheena), Katie (Adam), Traci (Jason), Jeff (Jenn), Paul (Tammy) and Dan (Melissa).  Fondly remembered by her 13 great-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.   Dear sister-in-law of Ron and Mary Kennedy.   Remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her grandson Michael Stevenson and her 8 siblings.   Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday, April 19^th from 7 – 9 p.m.  A funeral service celebrating Shirley’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 20^th at 12 p.m.  Spring interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
