Jake was a great friend to me for many years. When I would bump into him at the Legion we would sit, chat and have a beer. He was a great listener and friend and helped me to work thru my own grief with my loss of Deb. He is at peace watching over you all and I am pretty sure he is up there playing tunes with Deb & Jim. This photo was taken in or around December 1968, in The Netherlands. The photo is of Opa Profijt (my grandfather, and Jake's father). The little girl in the middle is me (Kaidjah). Dad loved to ice skate, and taught me how to do it at a very young age.
