Harold Smith

Harold Norman Smith, of RR#4 Mount Forest, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital on Wednesday, October 17^th, 2018 in his 91^st year. Beloved husband of the late Janet Smith (nee Braun). Loving father of Heather Huber and her husband Robert of RR#2 Kenilworth. Cherished grandfather of Lee-Anne Huber and her husband John Legault, Jason Huber and his fiancé Chelsea Eade, Kelsey Huber and Khaila Huber. Dear brother of Mervin Smith and his wife Aleta of British Columbia, and brother-in-law of Dorothy Smith of Niagara Falls, and Mable Gardner and her husband Ron of Grand Valley.  Predeceased by his infant daughter Karen, four brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Sunday, October 21^st from 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Harold’s life will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 146 Sligo Road West, Mount Forest, on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
