To the entire Dineen family.
Heartfelt condolences from our family to yours. We were neighbours for almost 30 years with so many memories of kindness, laughter, and true caring. From making sure our lane was blown, to checking the old well on the property was safe for the kids, to hanging around for an neighbourly and insightful conversation. I remember Eddie, calling to say the snowblower was topped up with gas, and the toboggan was covered with blankets if I needed a ride to town in the dead of winter to deliver my Christmas babies. Then his special Halloween scenes he would create for the kids, his toboggan rides behind the snow mobile, stone picking and showing up with a tractor pulling a trailer with car seats bolted to the flatbed. He was ready to give the guests a ride from the bottom of our lane up to the wedding grounds. He didn’t want the ladies in high heels to get stuck in the gravel! These are but a few of the wonderful memories we carry.
We are very sad to hear of this passing but grateful for the memories. Thinking of you all.
Doreen Hunter.
