CONRAD, Clarona - It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces the passing of Clarona Conrad on Sunday, April 13, 2025, nine days before her 88th birthday. Beloved wife of Lester for 63 years. Loving mother of Cathy Conrad, Linda Preston (Wayne), Carl Conrad (Diana), Paul Conrad (Michele Miller), and Sharon Otsuka (Haru). Adored Grandma of Jim, Keith (Samantha), William, Steven (Diana), Christine, Brittany (Brady), Nick, Andrew (Selena), Daniel, and Ashley (Shawn), and several precious great-grandchildren. Survived by her dear sisters Rita and Helen. Predeceased by her sisters, Theresa and Hilaria.
Clarona was born in St. Agatha on April 22, 1937, the daughter of John and Magdalena Mosburger. She enjoyed gardening, baking and preparing delicious meals for her family and friends to enjoy. Her faith was very important to her. She cherished her church community immensely and her involvement with the Catholic Women's League. She was always busy helping to run the family farm and many other jobs she dedicated herself to after retiring from farming in 1976, all while raising her five children.
Clarona’s family will receive family and friends at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, April 22nd from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 9141 Highway 6, Kenilworth, on Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Donations in her memory would be appreciated by the family to Sacred Heart Church, Kenilworth, or the charity of your choice.
