Louanne Adela Davidson

DAVIDSON, Louanne Adela – Passed away peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Care, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Allan Davidson (1994). Loving mother Peter (Brenda) Davidson, Susan (Alfie) Jaconelli, and Jeffrey Davidson. Dear Nana of Kelly (Adrian) Schuller, Mark (Katie) Davidson, and Sarah Jaconelli (Ryan Furnish), and great-Nana of Jacob, Joshua, Ashley and Blair. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Connie and Carolyn, and many nieces and nephews who knew her as “Auntie Lou”.

Mom was never afraid to try new adventures. She enjoyed teaching for over 10 years, then in retirement she enjoyed tutoring ESL and French. Travel was a huge passion for her and Allan, trips included Japan, France, Hawaii, and many others. She later traveled on her own to the Galapagos Island, where she met George the giant tortoise. Sports were also a large part of her life, from surfing in Hawaii, competing in triathlons, bike riding, and yoga, where she made many cherished friends. A life well lived!

Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Louanne are asked to consider the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or a local hospital of your choice. Condolences

After first meeting Louanne in 1995, I sensed she would be a kindred spirit.
Louanne mentored so many with her honesty, kindness, directness, wisdom, caring, humour plus of course her desire for adventure, challenges and laughter. A woman who lived her life fully, with integrity.
Louanne, I am grateful for your presence in my life. You will always be in my heart.
Condolences to her lovely family. You have
so many beautiful memories to cherish.

Patricia
