It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Daniel. Daniel passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 2, 2025 at the age of 62 in Mount Forest, Ontario. He was born in Toronto, Ontario on November 27, 1962. He is survived by his sisters; Patricia Sanderson (Harold) of Durham, Colleen Flintoff (Bill) of Oshawa, Ramona Shearer (Mark) of Oshawa, and Kathleen Callan (Bruce) of Southgate Township, brother; Kenneth Shearer (Peggy)of Victoria Harbour, and son; Tyler Shearer. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; George Irvin LeRoy Shearer (July 26, 1992), Dorothy Margaret Tyler (October 1, 1972), brothers; George LeRoy Shearer (May 4, 1999), James Arthur Shearer (September 22, 2017), stillborn brother (1959), sisters; Marlene Norma Bazinet (March 29, 2012), Dorothy Margaret Lahay (November 20, 2016), and common-law wife; Cindy Davis (April 19, 2014).
A memorial service will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
