— Shelley LeBlanc and family, November 25, 2024My condolences to Jim's family. I played pool with Jim pretty much since I started playing back in High School. I am no doubt a better player today because of the support I received from Jim. A notable phrase Jim may have said a lot to me and no doubt other players too was "SLOW DOWN." This advice apart from his countless other pieces of technical advice for pool was indeed very effective; so effective, that I even here his voice in the back of my head the odd time telling me to SLOW DOWN! After discussing this matter with the captain of our Wednesday team, I found out that she too hears Jim in the back of her head saying "SLOW DOWN." Now if that isn't an effective coach/mentor - I don't know what is. Jim touched the lives of so many people, and was truly a valued member of the pool community. I miss him a lot, but I know he is in a good place now, and is probably sticking it to my uncle Dave playing pool and basketball up above the clouds. RIP my friend.

My condolences to you on Jim's passing. I remember so fondly my interaction with Jim during the years we were both on the Allsorts and his patience and humour with probably the most unathletic person he had ever encountered. In the years since any time our paths crossed you could always count on Jim for a smile and a good word. He will be missed.

To Sharron and Family,
I am very sorry to read the Obituary of Jim’s passing. Being neighbors with you and your family for nearly 28 years while residing in Mount Forest. We knew we had great neighbors, and could always call on you when the need arose.
I remember fondly of our conversations we would have over the back yard fence.
I will always remember you and Jim as a loyal and dependable Couple. Jim was known as a Gentleman with a quiet soul. As I would often say to my Family “ Sharon has a Heart of Gold”.
Remembering you and your Family at this difficult time.
