WILSON, S. Marie – Suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Monday, October 28, 2024 in her 65th year. Loving mother of James Wilson (Sarah), Jeremie Wilson (Kayla), Samantha Catley (Brett Doney), and Shirley Catley all of Mount Forest. Dear sister of Elliott North (Catherine) of Shelburne, Fred North of Collingwood, and sister-in-law of Barb North of Durham. Loving “Nanny” of Ally, Dylan, Evan, Blake, Tyson, Taya, Landon, Myles, and Nellie. Marie will be missed by dog Levi, many nieces, nephews extended family and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Cliff & Shirley North, and by her brother Keith North.
Marie touched many lives, whether working as a crossing guard, going above and beyond to care for “her kids,” or at Spanky’s, where you always got great food, great conversation and a few laughs!
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest. A private funeral service will be held. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marie are asked to consider Diabetes Canada, Guelph Humane Society, or Community Food Pantry, Mount Forest.
