MAY, Bruce Donald – Peacefully, with family by his side at Strathcona Long Term Care on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Patricia May (née Armstrong). Loving father of Terry Anne May-Thomson and her husband Peter Thomson. Survived by his sisters-in-law Dee Armstrong and Janet Rafuse. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Gladys May; in-laws Loane and Agnes Armstrong; siblings: Thelma (Hubert) Busch, Mildred (Victor) Busch, and George (Shirley) May; and brothers-in-law Garth Rafuse and Jim Armstrong. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the 1st floor staff of Strathcona Long Term Care for the loving care given to Bruce, and for the kindness shown to them.
The memorial service will be held at England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Saturday, October 5th at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:00-12:45 p.m. Following, all are invited to Mount Forest United Church for refreshments and fellowship. A private interment will be held at Mount Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Mount Forest.

It was an honour to get to know & care for Bruce these last four years. He was a gentle man with a kind spirit. To be able to make him smile and help him communicate with you is a source of great joy Pat.
