MAMPAEY, Antoon “Louis” – Passed away peacefully, at Caressant Care, Arthur on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in his 91st year.
Predeceased by his wife, Frances Mampeay (2023). Loving father of Peter Mampaey of Mount Forest. Brother-in-law of Laura Newman of Listowel and Carol Black of Markdale. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Petrus and Marie Mampaey, brother Jean (Mary) Mampaey, father and mother-in-law Albert and Emma Sutter, brothers and sisters-in-law Edgar (Jean) Sutter, Stanley Sutter, Ray (Lorna) Sutter, Wilfred Sutter, Adeline (Albert) Schlosser, Agnes (George) Downing, Verna Philip Schlosser, Monica (John) Dault, Barbara (Andrew) Vandenburg, Joan (Ivan) McFarlan, Charles Newman and Ray Black.
Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. with prayers at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s of the Purification Roman Catholic Church, 310 Parkside Drive, Mount Forest at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Louis are asked to consider Cancer Patient Services, Mount Forest.

Our deepest sympathies to Peter and family. Uncle Lou was always a quiet man, but had a good sense of humour. It is nice to think of him being together with Aunt Fran again. So sorry we were unable to attend in person. But our prayers and thoughts were with you. Hope you can find comfort in knowing he is at peace.
