BRYDON, George – It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Geordie at Louise Marshall Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the age of 56. 

Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy Brydon (née Prendergast) of 27 years. Cherished Dad and #1 Fan of Emily Brydon and Ashley Brydon. Son of Joan Brydon (deceased), Jim & Diane Brydon and son-in-law of Ron Prendergast (deceased) and Eula Prendergast. Brother-in-law of Gayle and Rob Woods and cherished uncle of Rachel and Johnny Rutter and Ryan Woods. His whole extended family will miss Geordie’s smile, sense of humour and love of music. Geordie could often be found with a guitar on his lap or music playing in the background. Geordie was a big cheerleader and a wealth of knowledge at the hockey rink. He left an impact on many teammates over the years. 

In accordance with Geordie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Dear Cathy, Emily and Ashley, I am so sorry. Geordie is missed by our whole family. He had such a good and caring heart and was always willing to help. He was an amazing dad and husband.
