GREEN, Ernest Telford “Telly” – Passed away, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Markdale Hospital on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in his 91st year.
Loving father of Leonard Green and his wife Michelle of Ayton, Lorne Green and his wife Lynne of Cambridge, Lori Grant and her husband Ron of Belmore, Lyle Green and his partner Bernice Van Wyck of Chesley and Lesa Curry and her husband Dave Lisk of Markdale. Grandfather of Abby (Frank) Messina, Adam (Krista) Green, Amber Green (Mark McCoy), Kayla (Nick) Sampogna, Kyle (Megan) Grant, Tianna Grant, Danielle Green, Cassidy (David) Ironmonger, Jackson Green (Brydon Carson), Brad Curry, Cody Lisk and Brady Lisk. Great-grandfather of Francesco, Stefano, Nevaeh, Blake, Brock, James, Julian, Ivy, Payton, Georgia, Harper, Kinsley and Madison. Brother of Flora MacArthur of Georgetown, Eunice Bradburn of Selkirk and brother-in-law of Audrey (Dennis) MacDonald of Mount Forest and Jim (Bonnie) Hamilton of Mount Forest. Predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Green, infant son Larry Green, brothers-in-law Earl MacArthur and Ron Bradburn, and son-in-law Kevin Curry.
Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Friday, May 17th from 10:00-10:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Forest Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Telly are asked to consider Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.
