— Wendy (MacEachern) & Carl Abbott, March 11, 2024Dear Kenny & Family.
I'd like to send my sincere condolences to all of you.
I remember Maureen from when I was a child. We all lived on concession five - six of Egremont Township.
Every weekend, we'd head to your property and ride your ponies around the little corral. For a city kid who only ever drew horses in art class, this was like a dream come true! Over the years this fond memory has come to mind numerous times. But what stood out the most was how we all received little ribbons afterwards. One for each of us & no one was ever left out. You made us all feel like winners.
You also delivered our mail to the little red schoolhouse, for years! I thank you for that. It was always so nice to see your smiling faces, on a quiet summer day when the road was still a gravel dusty country road.
May all your fondest memories keep you close in heart at this difficult time. Cherish those special times spent with family and friends.
I'm sending you my love today in hopes that it will help to heal your hearts a little, just by knowing that you are in mind. Thanks for the memories Maureen & Kenny!
Ken and all the family. Our condolences to all of you on the passing of Maureen. She was a well liked lady. Cherish all your memories

It will be the little things that you will remember about Maureen ... the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it seem hard right now, it will be the memories of those little things, that will help you to push away the pain in time.
It's hard to turn the pages when you know someone you love won't be there in the next chapter, but you will make her story live on, with your thoughts and memories of her
Ken, you and Maureen have always held a very special place in our hearts. We will never forget your kindness, friendship, support and love, opening your hearts and your home to us during a difficult time God bless you
May you find comfort in knowing that others care. Sending our love
