BROPHY, Donald “Don” – Peacefully and surrounded by family at Strathcona Long Term Care on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Lois Brophy. Loving father of Cindy Brophy, Susan (Wayne) Welsh, and Mark Brophy (Debby Zinger). Cherished grandfather of Tina (Travis), Ronnie, Shannon, Crystal, and Niki (Cody); and great-grandfather of Makayla, Cheyanna, Mason, Makenna, and Ryker. Don will be remembered by his extended family in Montreal. Predeceased by his brothers, sisters, and brother-in-law.
Don was an avid skier and golfer and a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent many winters in Panama City Beach, Florida, where he made life-long friendships. Don adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly called him “Gramps” and “Old Gramps”.
A private family service will be held. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider Cancer Patient Services. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

He was a great man and I loved listening to all his stories. Don had travelled to so many places and worked all over the world he could entertain everyone for hours. My prayers are with you 🙏💔
