Stephen "Steve" Fry
April 5, 2023
FRY, Stephen Robert “Steve” - It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Stephen “Steve” Robert Fry, peacefully surrounded by his sons and family at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario on April 5, 2023. Steve was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, on December 4, 1947 to Brian Augustus Charles Fry and Ada Alice Eldridge. Steve came to Canada as a young man, when, trying to travel the world, his world-travelling stopped when he met and married the love of his life, Beverlee Ann McDougall Fry (pre-deceased). An avid fisherman who loved to camp, Steve was a proud father to Jackee Ann Fry (pre-deceased), Jeffry Fry (Alison), and Ian Fry (Lara). Steve was the loving grandfather of Evan, Bethaney, Audrey, Hilary, Nolan, Ethan, and Nicholas. Steve will be fondly remembered by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends both in Canada and England.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North, Mount Forest, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:15 a.m., light lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Steve, the family would appreciate donations be made to Hospice Wellington. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
Mr. Stephen
