Marilyn Clarida
November 12, 2022
CLARIDA, Marilyn - Peacefully at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of almost 53 years to George Clarida. Loving mother of Wayne Clarida (Sue) of North Bay, Wayde Clarida (Lisa) of Callander, and Carrie Caudle (Trevor) of Mount Forest. Loving grandmother of Charity-Lynn Cobb (Mike), Shayne Clarida, Kyle Clarida, Trent Caudle and Brad Clarida; and great-grandmother of Emmy and Allie Cobb, who they affectionately called “Old Grandma”. Marilyn will be missed by her sisters Audrey McCabe, June Steffler, Barb Witiuk, and Nancy Tempe (Art), and by many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Herbert and Isabella, her sisters Shirley and Janeanne, and by her brother Ralph. Marilyn loved to care for children, whether it was her own families kids, or the neighbourhood kids, she simply loved children. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting, until her hands did not allow her to continue. She in later years found a new passion in 5D Diamond Painting, and gave many of her art creations to her family. She loved to bake, especially around holidays, and by this time of year would already be planning her Christmas baking. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marilyn are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson Society.
