Giles Philip LeBlanc

October 19, 1962 - September 14, 2022

It is with the heaviest hearts we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend to many in his 60th year. He was a ray of sunshine, touched everyone he met to the extreme. Giles was predeceased by the love of his life his wife, Barbara Jean LeBlanc (Cowan) in 1996. Giles was the second born son to Jean (deceased 2020) and Raymond LeBlanc. Little brother to Guy (Kim) and a big brother to Gisele (Paul) Lightfoot. He leaves behind his three nephews: Christian and Julian LeBlanc, and Luke Lightfoot. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. In Giles younger years he spent many hours diving and swimming, enjoying the Can-Am Games for many years. If you knew Giles you will remember him flying around town on his motorcycle or his beloved convertible. A special thank to all the staff at Strathcona Long Term Care in Mount Forest for making his last days as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

Condolences

Tears my heart up hearing of Giles passing, we used to live together back in 2014/2015 in Port Elgin and I had been trying to find him for a while. I was only 19. His cellphone was no longer working so I started searching the web and this is what I found. We had a lot of long nights playing cards and sharing stories. A lot of laughs. My deepest condolences on the passing of Giles to his family and friends.

Sincerely
Drew Schwandt

To Raymond and family - sorry to hear of Giles passing and also of your wife. Jean. We would gather together in Woodstock or Ingersoll and have so many laughs - especially around your pool. Time passes and we all go on to other things. This brings back many memories of all those happy times. God Bless. David and Norma Thomas.

I am so sorry to hear of Giles passing. I have many fond memories of working with him and Guy in Tillsonburg at the Community Centre. There was never a dull moment when I was scheduled to work with the brothers! He had a true passion for swimming and that was very evident when he was teaching. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
