Neil Webster
April 30, 2022
WEBSTER, Neil - The family announces with sorrow the death of Neil Webster at Royal Terrace in Palmerston on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 77 years old. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Demers) and dear father of Brian of Thunder Bay, Cindy of Grand Valley, and Mark of Timmins. He will be sadly missed by his sister Margaret Malherbe, Jocelyne Morin and his brother Robert Webster. He will be remembered by his grandson Dallin. Neil was predeceased by his parents Joyce and John Webster, his brothers Hugh, Reginald, Dave and Les Webster and his sisters Kathleen Gale and Susan Garand.
Born in Clute Ontario, Neil resided in Northern Ontario (Cochrane) for several years until a career change brought him to Eganville Ontario in 1988, where he resided till recently. Neil was a hard worker, a proud father, and a “jack of all trades”. If something was broke, Neil could fix it.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In memory of Neil, donations to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
Condolences
I have only just learned of the loss of Neil. He was a wonderful person. His kindness and abilities go far and wide. Besides his intelligence, sense of humour, honesty and, his kindness to all that he knew and helped, it is thanks to him that I have had so very many happy hours with a trio of Dobermanns. When you are with a family and wonder in a building where you know you are alone but you do have a good guard in the building who will let you know if there is anything to worry about but you never knew that this lovely lady could silently patter down a flight of stairs, turn the door handle and pop in during a family arrangement. However, anytime there was someone at the door including me she knew and had her own levels to announce concern. The family asked if I planned it until they looked at my face and we all laughed. Her entry moment was exceptional and as far as I was concerned, she could go on the payroll any time.
Even as I couldn't wait to email him, I knew he was not so well when I last talked to him. I had just seen the article on the restoration of Parkdale Hall. Oh how it quickly hit home that I never should have left so much time go by even if there was covid. Now I will stick with thinking he probably already knew about the discovery anyway and I will leave the link for others who will understand.
I am sorry for all missing him now and especially to those who loved him on all days even if one might not be as popular on every one of them. https://www.blogto.com/fashion_style/2021/03/toronto-forgotten-theatre-market-steampunk/

Sincere condolences to Jacqueline, Cindy, Brian, Mark, Dallin, families and friends. Neil was always such a quiet and nice man when he would come to the Co-op so many years ago. May you keep all the great memories close to your heart.
