— Pauline & Verne Mills, January 26, 2014To My Beautiful Grams Bear! I was struggling to find the right words to write to you and I came across this beautiful poem on the internet. The words could not describe more perfectly how I feel. Love you more than words can ever say!! Always in my heart and never forgotten!! Love you so very very much!!!! Lisa POEM TITLE IS....If Tears Could Build A Stairway.... If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken No time to say good-bye, You were gone before I knew it And only God knows why. My heart’s still active in sadness And secret tears still flow, What it meant to lose you No one can ever know. But now I know you want us To mourn for you no more, To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store. Since you’ll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today A hallowed place within my heart Is where you’ll always stay.

— shari, amy and alex, January 21, 2014Grams Bear, You have meant so much to me. Not only are you the best Grandmother, but a wonderful friend. I will miss so many things about our time together, but most of all, your hugs! You always gave the BEST hugs!!! I learned so many wonderful things from you, and am so thankful to have had you there every step of the way. The most important lesson you taught me was forgiveness and to love unconditionally because you never know when your time with people in this life will come to an end. I wish you were still here with us, but I know it was time for you to be with those who love you on the other side. Give Gramps and Aunt Gail a big hug and kiss for me. I’ll see you again someday, but until then, I love you oh so much! xoxoxo
