Calder, Kenneth; at Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Wednesday September 5th, 2012. Kenneth Beverly Calder of Hanover in his 86th year. Loved brother of George Calder of North York, a resident of the Bob Rumball Centre for The Deaf. Ken was very close with his cousin Jessie Calder, who resides in Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Annie (Wilson) Calder. Ken was employed in the Hanover Post Office for over 25 years. He was a member of the United Church of Hanover. Ken was proud of his Scottish heritage, and loved his Scottish music. He was able to visit Scotland in the late 1970's. He was also interested in art, due to his mother being an artist. He also enjoyed Big Band music and history books. The care of Ken, by the Hanover Care Centre Nurses and Staff was much appreciated over the last few years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. We extend our sincere condolences to the family. Ken was the Best Man and our wedding and unfortunately we lost contact over the past years. However, we will always have very fond memories of Ken.
