Condolences
Our deepest sympathy to your family in the loss of Merle. I knew her at the time my father married Lillian Jane Edgar (Clendenning) but had not seen Len and Merle for many years. I have information concerning a cemetery plot Lillian owns(ed). Your parents discussed transferring ownership to their names but nothing was done before Suzanne died. If you could call us we will explain this more clearly and you can get the transfer arranged with the cemetery. e-mail address is a,m,holt@ody,ca and address is #1010 - 1985 Richmond Street, London, Ont, N5X 0A6
— Marilyn (McPherson) & Art Holt, April 17, 2015Dear Paul...... Norm & I send our prayers & deepest sympathy to all the Edgar family on the loss of your mother & grandmother. She was a great lady with such a sunny disposition. I can still see her & Len relaxing on the front porch on their loungers. She'll be missed.
— Norm & Janet Freiburger, April 16, 2014I was so sorry to hear about Merle. She was a lovely and kind woman She was always very kind to my mother, Clara Cardone, and her friendship was very much appreciated. Over the years I received many notes from Merle and really appreciated her positive view and love for life. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to visit her last spring when we were in Mount Forest. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

— David and Linda Fowler, April 11, 2014To Merle's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Merle was such a charming and thoughtful woman, who was always cheerful with never a disturbing word to say about others. When I was away, she always kept an eye on my house and when I returned each summer, it was fun to visit with her again. When she moved to Birmingham, Merle was missed in the community near Main Street, but I enjoyed visiting with her there. Again, my deepest sympathies to you all. Kathy Davies
