Greenwood, Murray; at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre, Mount Forest on Wednesday November 11, 2009. Murray Greenwood of Holstein in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Olive'Pat' (McGuire) Greenwood. Loved father of Patricia Hedges & husband Mel of Burlington. Loving grandfather of Darren Hedges & wife Allison of Guelph and Tricia Hutton & husband Gary of Burlington. Loving great grandfather of Alexis and Zachary Hutton and Jocelyn and Reese Hedges. Dear brother of Grant Greenwood of Durham. Brother-in-law of Des (McGuire) Murphy & husband Roy of Harriston, Lorne Moore of Palmerston, Don Shier of Listowel. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Susan Kerr & husband Howard, brother Gordon Greenwood & wife Doris and sisters-in-law Aura (McGuire) Hargrave & husband Clarence, Elma (McGuire) Grant & husband Doug, Jean (McGuire) Moore and Eleanor (McGuire) Shier. Murray was retired from the McGuire & Greenwood Limited Feed Mill of Holstein which he owned & operated for many years. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Saturday November 14th from 12noon until 1:00p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at 1:00p.m. followed by the memorial service. Interment at Holstein Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 134, Mount Forest, Autism Ontario or to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
