Jean Louise Norris (nee Godden)
NORRIS, Jean Louise (nee Godden) – Peacefully and surrounded by her family on Friday, September 25th, 2020 at the age of 84. Cherished wife for 66 years of Donovan Norris, of Mount Forest. Loving mother of Debra (Frank) Wale, Colleen (John) Mann, and Keith (Sylvia) Norris. Dear grandmother of seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Beverley Weatherall and the late Barbara Leduc. Jean was a private woman who was passionate about her family; always interested in their activities. She had a contagious smile, wonderful zest for life and a woman we could all depend on. Her adventurous spirit, strong-willed attitude and sense of humour will be missed. As per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

Condolences

Words seem difficult when I reflect on my Mom's life. I feel fortunate to be her son and it's an honor to call her Mom. I feel like it would take a lifetime to write all the beautiful memories I shared with her. Mom, your memory will live on in all of our hearts forever.

Everytime I seen Jean, we had fun. When I walked at the Arena and Don walked also. Jean would be waiting in the lobby. If I finished 1st, I would stop and we would have a chat. Always a laugh. She loved to hear a funny story, or a joke. She really was a wonderful person. She will be missed. Don , please take care of yourself. Hugs from me. Kay Ayres
