Condolences
Bert was one of a kind. The world needs many more like him. Very empathic cancer driver. My deepest thoughts to the family. Paul and Tracy burke.
— Tracy and Paul burke, November 16, 2020What a wonderful picture of Bert. He had a great smile and a twinkle in his eye. It's been about a year since Bert was a part of our choir at St, Mary's, but we knew he was singing from his pew. A driver for Cancer Patient Services, he continued to put his vehicle to good use after moving into Birmingham Retirement. Every Sunday he brought fellow Catholics who resided there to St. Mary's for Mass. Always selfless, always considerate. Will always be missed.

He had a great combination of dedication to work, family, friends, kindness and faith. May he Rest In Peace and be re-united with many of his cherished friends and family who have passed.
