— Freda Turgeon and the Algar family, January 1, 2010I first got to know Ron back in 1990 when I joined the Lions club. We worked together at Bingo, Nevada, The Terry Fox Runs and many other Lions events. He was a big help when I was chair of those events, and when I was president. We had a special bond. I came to rely on his opinion. I know that this Town is a better place because of Ron. I think I`m a better person because of him. I will never forget him. He left us with a strong legacy of hard work and dedication of service that will be hard to live up to. He left a wonderful family my heard goes out to them. It was an honor to be selected as a pall bear. Thank You Mary. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Bill Dineen

— Michael Zambri, January 1, 2010Dear Hunter Family, It is rare in life that you meet someone like Ron and Mary. Their strong family bond and community spirit is remarkable. The recognition Ron has received in the community is a small view into what a wonderful person he and his family are. Just being a family friend has enriched our lives and given us many good memories. I know you will all be surrounded in love and faith in the next while and we take comfort knowing that if we can't be there many others will be. Our hearts may be heavy today and Ron will be greatly missed our lives have been touched by an angle and for that there is no greater gift. May God bless you all and help you with your grief.
