Irvin, John; at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Thursday June 12, 2014. John Michael Irvin formerly of New Hamburg in his 62nd year. Beloved father of Alan Young & wife Joslyn of Surrey, B.C., stepfather of Trisha Schneider, grandfather of Avalon and step grandfather of Lucas Schneider. Dear brother of Margaret Stortz & husband James of RR #1, Hanover, Judy Shaw & husband Bill of Barrie, Tom Irvin & Carol Warren of Durham, Barb Fischer & husband Ken of Calgary, Diane Coulman & husband Lee of Elmira and Beverly Milne & husband Ron of Newboro. Survived also by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Linda Mountain, parents James & Myrtle Irvin and by brother James Irvin Jr. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at the Mount Forest Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
