Koeniger, Josef; at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday September 8, 2008. Josef Koeniger of Pike Lake in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Christine (Kaufmann) Koeniger. Loved father of Tracy Cunningham & Shawn McGill of Whitby and step father of Markus Beckenlehner of Edmonton, Alberta and Cliff Beckenlehner of Gunn, Alberta. Loving grandfather of Shawn and Tanya Cunningham and step grandfather of Chanelle Beckenlehner. Dear brother of Maria Riedner of RR #2, Cunnington, Max Koeniger & wife Renate of Etobicoke, Hermine Pelligra & husband Johnny of Aurora and Margaret of Lake Simcoe. Dear brother-in-law of Gerda Koeniger of Mississauga. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Josef & Theresa Koeninger, sister Rosa and brother Adolf. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Saturday September 20th at 1:00p.m. Memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital would be appreciated by the family. We are so proud to have known Josef. He was our very good friend and co-worker in the aviation business. He was an expert technician and machinist, always ready with an ingenious solution to a problem. Josef will be missed very much. His hard work ethic was an inspiration to so many people and is still very much remembered today. Have a good journey Josef Koeniger .. we will think of you for a long, long time.
